In the past , Uyghur people believed in Buddhism as evidence showed. They look similiar to Asian people than Arab Turks.

Uyghurs dont look like Chinese at all. They are clearly a mix of mongol and european ethnicity. Many of them have blue or green eyes and all of them still loke more turkic than chinese. The Chinese have only been in Uyghuristan for a short time and they are not mixing with the Turks!
