For others watching, pulling the bar is used for jumping mostly (at least with a foil). You can get lofted in the air if the winds are strong enough. This isn't something to worry about once you gain the experience. And make sure to research how to set up your kite (lines, inflating, etc.) if you are unsure; it will save a huge headache and maybe your life.

I have to say, it would have been funny seeing you run down the beach after my bud trying to punch him in the face. You shouldn't kick a man when he's down. Good luck to your 10 year old... I'm glad she took lessons and hope she has fun with it.

You are right. I did not know that no one would get hurt, so yeah... maybe I have a sick sense of H-U-M-O-R. I also find it funny that you are so jacked out of shape about one stupid video. Let it go dude. Let it go. Why don't you go watch videos of people who are actually GOOD at kite boarding? I bet they are way more interesting... though not as funny!

Get your panties out of a wad and get a sense of humor! Fortunately, no one got hurt, and we got it all on tape so everyone can laugh and make jokes at the expense of my idiotic friend. More importantly, maybe a few people will learn what NOT to do when learning to kite board after they've had a good laugh! :)
