"Psych!" McCain Trying to Fake Out Voters on Gas-Tax Gimmick

When McCain unveiled his economic proposal on April 15th, he once again reaffirmed his support for the Bush Tax Cuts for the wealthy (which he TWICE opposed) and also proposed a federal "Gas Tax holiday." After he was ridiculed in the media for calling it "an immediate economic stimulus, here's what he had to say about it.

right on, julio. i couldn't agree with you more. there are lots of video postings of obama being shredded for opposing this gas tax holiday by naive (and perhaps uninformed) people but you, on the other hand, see things for what they are. American's need to wake up and take the time to educate themselves about what's really going but unfortunately, too many ppl are asleep at the wheel.

The price of oil today is $122.00 a barrel.

And McCain plan is to give us a feel good placebo price reduction of a grand total of 18 cents on a $4.00 gallon?

The Oil companies will take the saving away and we will not see a penny goes down in the retail price.
