What you need:
Cell Phone Battery. mine was T mobile MDA hadn't been used in a while.
Old USB cable
Tape
Computer. Any kind, needs USB input though

hmm...well my problem isn't that the battery won't charge at all, it's that it won't hold the charge (battery dies fast) may be my phone, not sure....might try this...

It worked, I was about to switch back to my Optimus V versus the Triumph. But this little trick just rejuvenated my old battery :)

A lot of people don't know that when you drop a phone in water, the water gets to the battery, shorts out the battery (which kills it), and cuts power to the phone before the water even gets to the circuitry.
I've got a whole box of cell phone batteries that will not charge, particularly old ones that have corroded, so I will have to try this.

dude you are a genious. A lot of people forget that the phone battery could die too especially after water damage as the phone can recover when its dry. I new it was the battery had no idea how to sort it out. Thanks!!

Dude, awesome idea.. Just tried it out on my dead Sony Ericsson X10 battery...
