This was a simple board modification idea that I got from DDR FREAK when DDR first started getting popular over here in the states. I'm still playing with the same pad I got with the original DDR Ultramix way before the other ones were released and it still works like new.

For two reason. The first is for support. My living rooms have always been carpeted as instead of say.....wood floors...putting it on a big huge flat piece of wood meant being able to play on a completely hard surface. Two, those matts are flimsy plastic which over time can crack from your feet sinking into them when the mats on carpet instead of hard flooring. Putting it on a large hard piece of wood preserves it.

Wow, that's awesome:) What amazes me though is that you can play DDR on that pad with out any shoes on. I had to mount mine on a piece of plywood and cover it with a heavy plastic so I could play with my shoes on! Good for you:) I love that song by the way!

Hahahahaha I'd probably give up like halfway during the thing. That's a lot of arrows, I get waaay confused right away. Nice song though huh?

Wow, for being over 320 lbs your dam good ^_^ I weigh half of you and i cant play that well.
But then its not really your weight, its your dexterity, And anyone can be agile if they know how to handle themselves.
