Our second race of 2009. The May 16-17 Precision Concrete Mulligan Sunday at Luskville Dragway. Boy was it COLD. 46˚ was the high of the day and a stiff wind made it seem even colder.

We found our ignition problem from two weeks ago and we're running on all eight again. The car was hooking well. We had to adjust our wheelie bars to keep the front end down after a wild ride in time trials. We made it to the final eight in a good sized field of cars. We plan on hitting the track again this coming weekend for a test and tune. Stay tuned for an update!

  • can someone tell me how much it cost to go see the races in luskville

  • Depending on the weekend, the the spectator price varies from $10 and up. I'm pretty sure kids are free. Best bet is to call the track office at 819-455-9614, if there is no answer call 613-224-1132. If you decide to go, drop by our pits and say hello! Let us know you saw us on youtube.

  • Nice work!! You don't see too many altereds that are successful in bracket racing. Seems like the car was working good (going straight) and looks like you were choping the tree down!!

  • Thanks! We're getting a handle on this but it's taken a while. It's for sure more challenging that your typical piperack.

  • Really nice car!! I'm new here to Canada, and I wanted to know if the time shown at the end of the run it's the actual 1/4 mile time? or were you only running 1/8? thanks

  • Welcome to Canada. The times were 1/8th mile. The car has run 7.60's in the 1/4 mile. With the right tune the car is capable of 4.70's and 7.50's we are just taking our time on the tune-up.

  • ok thank you very much and im planning on going this weekend (1&2) if your there ill stop by the pit and thank you in personne

  • From time to time I drive an Alcohol Funny Car, so I know how hard it is to drive a short wheelbase car. It's really neat to see someone do well bracket racing an altered. In my dragster, I'm usually trying to hunt down an altered to race in eliminations because they're so unpredictable. I probably wouldn't go looking for this blue one though. Good luck guys!

  • I see it's an 01'

  • Awesome ride ! Mike builds the Best! What year is it?
