Native Circle Grand Entry 1997 Eyabay Singers Stillwater OK

Grand entry at the 1997 Native Circle Powwow held at the Payne Country Fairgrounds in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Along with perfect introductory examples for "Northern Style" powwow singing, and a window into the eight major Southern powwow dance styles, the video closes with a low-angle, child's point-of-view shot during an intertribal dance with "Southern Style", or lower-pitched, singing. Also fun to look back at all our friends and family when they (and we) were younger!
