in my opinion square enix is terrified of making a remake of final fantasy 7 the game is untouchable it speaks for it self its a unique peace of art for 90% of the fans is the best series episode! if they make a remake of the game what of the old one? the game is realy great but nowdays its a classic its limited if we put it face to face even with ffx square enix would have to recriate the game and if they dont do it like they must?

@dracknlrrd Anyway, I doubt it would look this good, as we still don't have anything that does. Look at Final Fantasy 13, looks great, but not this good. It's an unrealistic tech demo that only renders a small amount of what should be displayed. The fact they are in a closed in city with buildings all near by allow them to increase character model detail, but I have a suspicion that something is different if we haven't seen comparable looking ps3 games.

Don't get all pissy, a remake of Chrono Trigger not made by the original developers is doubtful to be any good. It got shut down because a specific person said they were going to sell it, anyway.
