This is fantastic. Among other things it shows the advantage of conducting an interview without an audience. Tom Snyder does a great job here in giving Hitchcock the space to talk.

I have been trying to find this for over 15 years! I even wrote Tom in the mid 1990s to see if it was available anywhere (he never responded). THANK YOU for posting it - Hitch is much more comfortable and cognizant than in the Dick Cavett interview a year of two later - I only wish it were longer -
