One of my finest moments at one of my lowest ebbs. Depressed by the RSI and unable to play, let alone continue as a pro guitarist, I laid down this E maj backing, took a few passes and then hit record - somehow managing to pull this gem out of the bag.

Some of my best runs and motifs - maybe inspired by the sadness of my situation - and yet I can't remember how I played any of it!

26 - 30 secs is my favourite bit and it's immediately followed by a phrase that just soars to a singing bend at 39 secs. Perhaps the best phrase I've ever played.

This is more about feel, emotion and - hopefully - taste. With variety of phrasing techniques too. It sounds carefully composed and gave me faith during this dark period in my life.

Just a shame the backing track ran out!
