4/16/2010 -- I'm really happy to see that folks are enjoying this video. I posted this last year when I discovered this incredible artist and was sad to not find this great song on YouTube. In keeping with that spirit, I'm wondering if anyone could upload Donny's version of "He's Not Heavy, He's My Brother" from Songs for You, Live. I had it on CD but lost it, and would love to be able to hear it again. Cheers.

There was no better voice on this planet, than Donny Hathaway. He touched the hearts of everyone who ever heard him sing some of the best songs ever written. If this voice doesn't move you to tears, you have no soul. His gift was from God, and he used that gift to the fullest for all of us. God bless you Donny, and RIP.

I believe with ALL my heart that God HIMSELF! used this man and sang right through him, literally sang right through Donny. God definately used Donny for HIS own personal vessel. As if HE (GOD) came straight down to earth to play with us, to have fun with us, and to let us have a little piece of HIMSELF in the flesh to us. Say whatever you want..this my opinion.
