I love the idea of supergirl giving a wedgie to superman luls what? Loved it.

hmmmmmm, I still think there is hope mostly due to the fact that these characters are relatively obscure (and I can already hear guns being loaded for calling supergirl and batgirl obscure). Establishing them and their individuel places in the world along with comedy can easily fill a season.

The shorts are lovely for being what they are, but then again their are plenty of shows that digress in mini shorts (like the Find the Rhino bit from Johney Bravo or any of the super shorts in dexter's lab)

But hey maybe they could pull it off. I'd rather they not because i feel the plotlines and characters are better suited for short bursts of heart and entertainment but that's just me.

I meant that to make an entire show out of it, which entails season which usually have 12+ episodes, would make things get old fast. Especially considering some episodes would make pretty boring episodes. The episodes where they fight over the name of the group- great episode. The episode where grundy refuses to fight them- not a good episode. I feel like the humor works because it's so short. 24 minutes though? Not enough substance.

At their current pace yes, but the shorts feel slightly strained to compact themselves as is. Take this short for example; Take the exposition superman gives in his dialogue; establishing his relationship with supergirl emotionally can be done six minutes visually with scenes showing the psudo-sibling rivalry between them. Supervillain subplot can add 5-8 minutes of comedy, and if you have Batgirl and wondergirl deal with similar issues you can fill in the other 24 minutes and unify the story.

It's good as shorts. When you try and make and entire show out of these they get old fast.
