@DaveTheFuckingBrave: Yeah very true, im a Roy Keane fan and he is one of my favourite players of all time and there is no question that this is a straight red card but what i really like is the attitude of pointon, he's a real footballer! Can't imagine Suarez or Nasri just getting up after a tackle like this!

No players surrounding the referee. No chants of "off, off, off" from the crowd, no hysterics from the commentators. And the crowd cheered when he got a yellow, as if that was an achievement.
