megadeth tornado of souls solo

this one i shouldve done a loooong time ago! one of my (aswell as many other metal heads) all time favourite solos. The tone isnt spot on, but im using an ibanez with its stock pickups from 89 so no wonder! i butchered a sweep or 2 that i normaly would get right haha. I couldve practiced it a bit more and got every little bit of detail in there aswell (which i shouldve done really) but hey its better not to play EXACTLY the same way right??

oh and i had headphones on because of people sleeping.

@666ilikepie the mls great an all, but its not the right tone for most of what i like to play these days. i mainly only use it when im playing Pantera through the Dimebag rig.

these old pre-sabre series 540 ibanez' are AMAZING guitars, they play better than any guitar ive ever played....which is why i had to buy 2 :D

@BaeverN thanks, you should be into megadeth, theyre awesome. but if your into the lead work mainly, then check out Marty Friedman.

the kit is an Alesis DM10 payed about £730 for it i think, thats with a stool a bass pedal, some sticks, and an extra pad, so it was a good deal. i cant really say if its good or bad, because im not really a drummer im still a beginner, thats my first kit, but i find it fun, and theres some good reviews on it for the price.
