    he was a teacher of mine at stanford jazz camp. And i believe he has tried double bass but doesnt like switching from the second pedal to his hihat.

    you played his kit? wow - that's pretty special. where? i wonder if he always has the same setup all the time. i mean, he's 56 here - in his whole drumming career, he never tried double bass? with that great hihat technique and footcontrol all-round, you think he'd have a go - he'd fucking slay it, serious out-shining.
