SAN FRANCISCO, CA, USA -- Sensei Keiko Fukuda of San Francisco, California, a petite 98 years old woman who is only 4-feet-10 and 100 pounds, was promoted to the rank of 10th dan (degree) black belt in Judo this week by USA Judo, the sport's national governing body - setting the world record for the First Woman to Earn Highest Level Black Belt. (This is a work-in-progress sample clip for "Be Strong, Be Gentle, Be Beautiful.")

  • Such an inspiring woman. I can relate to her decision as i have given up my life and lost people and am in financial difficulties in order to pursue a life of Tae Kwon-Do.

    My greatest respects to a true master of the arts! A credit to her nation, women and Judo!
