The delegation met with ten European companies already invested in Arkansas:




Unilever (Skippy Peanut Butter)

ASDA (UK branch of Walmart)

Zodiac Aerospace (Amfuel in Magnolia)

LOreal (Maybelline in North Little Rock)

Dassault Falcon (Little Rock)

St. Jean Industries (Heber Springs)

Saint-Gobain (CertainTeed, Norton and Saint-Gobain Proppants in Glenwood, Little Rock, Fort Smith, Nashville, Hot Springs and Bryant)

Nordex (Jonesboro)

Airbus (EADS in Russellville)

Almatis (Bauxite)




Some of these companies discussed possible expansions in Arkansas.




The delegation also met with six other companies considering investment in Arkansas. These include suppliers of Nordex, who may locate near the company's new Northeast Arkansas facility.




The delegation met with U.S. Embassy officials and World Trade Center officials in London, Paris and Hamburg.




Total distance traveled: 10,725 miles.




Governor Beebe is the first Arkansas governor since Bill Clinton to travel to Europe on an economic-development and trade mission.
