@pianostix OH my gosh YES. It was this recording that made me fall in love with Piazza a few years ago when I first saw it. She is a fabulous actress and teacher!!!! I wish I could meet her sometime. . .

@uKooKu Andreas is a much better singer and has a much more captivating stage presence. I saw both. No comparsion.

I sure don't mean to demean Victoria Clark. As a whole, she played that role supremely, and owned it. I just was very pleasantly surprised by Andreas in the Chicago tour, when I was expecting to be disappointed. a different take on the role; beautifully sung.

I saw Christine Andreas as Margaret in Chicago twice. I melted in my chair. They should sell a version of the score featuring her. No offense to Victoria Clark

To each his own, but the fact still remains Victoria was brilliant in this role and deserved all the awards and acclaim she received.
