  • I JUST booked a trip and am staying at this hotel. Thanks for the video tour. You sound like you're working for the hotel - now go out there and RELAX...

Drink a Pina Colada and get sunburned, won't you! ha ha

  • @WhatTheFlyinFudge :

Glad you found it useful...no I don't work for the hotel......just had two great vacations there!! Hope to try the Elagance (sister resort of the Majestic Colonial next door) next year. Have a great trip!

  • @sascuderi Great video! We are traveling in February and this was a helpful tour! I have a question about the open air restaurant. Are there lots of birds everywhere on the tables and such? On our honeymoon in Aruba we could never go to the open air restaurnt becasue the birds overtook the place and it was so gross! Thanks!

  • @MsBuffalove : No, the birds were not a problem at the Majestic and did not fly around the open air restaurants. (I know what you mean, when in Mexico these big black birds would fly into the restaurants and eat from the buffet! Thank goodness that did not happen at the Majestic!)

  • I booked at this resort but i booked majestic elegance

  • @lanti96

the Elegance is slightly newer than the majestic but has kind of the same set up as the Majestic. So the general comments below for the Majestic apply to the Elegance too. Both are great resorts. We have been to the Majestic twice (2009/2010) and plan a trip to the Elegance in 2012. Have a great time!

its about a 5 min walk from the lobby to the beach, not bad at all. There is no train. You only have to make reservations at two of the resturants (Japanese Grill and the French) the rest (mexican/dominica/buffett/steak house/seafood house/chinese ) you can just walk in! We never had to wait for a table!

Not sure if it's premium drinks. The beer is the islands own (Prsidente) and was quite good. Other drinks tasted fine to me!

  • How many minutes is the walk from lobby to beach? Is there a train? Do you have to make reservations to eat at the restaurants? Are the alcoholic drinks premium drinks? Thanks

  • @1131982vincen

Thats beacuse I took the video at 6:30 am and most of the guest were still asleep!!
