  • I wanted to let you know your blogs are very informative, thank you .

  • @marypflieger Yes, perhaps think of it as one system instead of independent components of placement.

  • classical ballet pedagogy is a unique profession with different objectives than that of physiology; classical ballet pedagogy is the process of conveying complex information in the simplest manner, for the benefit of students.

  • so the basis of your method is placement and full placement is straight legs, holding turnout from rear and thighs-i'm assuming the inner thighs being worked the most instead of quads, holding abs and back correctly. is there anything else that includes "full placement"? interesting how i've never had a teacher explain this to me. though PLACEMENT the word is used often, just not the principle.

  • I've been looking through all your videos because they really talk to me. I'd love so much to attend to one of your classes, but sadly I am not in the States. Howhever, I have a few questions: Do you believe that there is a certain amount of flexibility required to attain a perfect turnout? If so, what is that amount and what one could do to achieve it? Even if we do maintain turnout mainly with the glutes and legs muscles, should we also focus on strenghtening the deep six rotators? Thanks!
