My sibi was also hunting everything that moves. :) Butterflies, flies, crickets, mosquitos, mise, birds, rats, snakes, spiders, dogs, other cats... It is allways so funny to watch them hunting. :)

I have a one year old black mackerel male and he is such a character. He fetches his feather want and brings it to you when he wants you to play with him. He also throws tantrums and destroys my paper files in my home office when I'm out for the day. When in, he sits on my desk and if I ignore him when he wants attention he will purposely start pushing things off my desk to get my attention ~ smart kitty!

@mistangelz Oh dear, your cat does it too? Must be a breed thing. My cat, Ithil, is only partially siberian, and already she's claimed 6 blankets as her own. T.T I miss my blankie.
That's a gorgeous cat you've got there! I am looking into getting a Siberian myself because I hear that these cats are hypoallergenic and i have mild allergies. :)

@AnimalAnimeFan Thank you! My husband is allergic and does totally fine with this breed. Of course, be sure you get a sample of the blanket your desired kitten sleeps on and check before you purchase one and love it too much to part with :)

@mistangelz I would like a siberian for the same reason as AnimalAnimeFan, could you tell me how much you paid for her? She's beautiful :)

@humancondition28 Sophie is show quality so she was a bit more expensive than our other Siberian (Sammie). You can expect to pay from 800 to 1500 for one of these beauties! They are well worth it. I've had other tabby cats growing up and they really don't compare.

Why do cats make that funny sound with their mouth when insects are around?

@agwoodliffe I think they're trying to attract it, or put it at ease using its own language. They do it to birds and squirrels too!
