lyrically I think Royce is far more superior than Jay is. word play is about equal but Royce is more of an all around decorated lyricist and more consistent. But when it comes to the song Renegade, I think Jay was a much better fit on the track, both of them got killed by Em but at least it made sense with Jay, as his subject matter was more similar and relevant. and Jay didn't have a bad verse at all, he used some excellent imagery and had some great mind opening lines.

i love all these rappers, but hands down, eminem had did the best point blank, he just torched it lyrically, his rhyme scheme and his flow and delivery of the great lyrics, it just could not be beat!

Word! Royce is the only emcee I've heard go line for line with Em consistently. Everybody gets raped. I wish Royce and Em would put aside their differences and do a collab album. But I'm from Michigan as well, and I'll admit, even if we squash our beef, we're some stubborn muthaphuckas so I doubt that'll ever happen.
