The real fight, the real champions, the real Christians would do this, reduce the ability of any people who can not feed themselves from having more kids that they can not feed. Feeding the existing children is very compassionate but does not account for the exponential growth within the starving population once they are feed & saved to grow up & have more starving kids. First you need to educate them & then get them into some sort of commerce so they can feed themselves & their own children.
