no especially if you run a tighter set up but if you are freeriding i would recommend dropping it through and using smaller wheels

@erlerl2000 i have not had experience with calibers. but i do know that they shorten your wheels base a bit. someone else on DSL rides the 44* but hes rides them topmounted on his supermodel. but they are GREAT trucks regardless

@erlerl2000 randalls and paris work perfectly fine. randalls can use bigger wheels though because they do not shorten your wheels base as much as paris trucks. paris trucks work great but you will want to stay with 70mm and below. i own both paris 180s and randall RII trucks and have had no problems.
