@2610paul Sorry but I don't believe one word of your post. You, and many Americans like you are deluded into that way of thinking. The dollar WILL collapse when the U.S. defaults on it's loans. It will happen literally overnight. Creditors will bail out. The only way to stop it is hyperinflation. When that happens, the dollar will truly be worthless. You mention other countries dumping goods?? BS!! Who wants to sell a product to someone who's currency value is toilet paper?

Ron Paul wouldn't win the Presidential election because he's being too idealistic not realizing the world has changed from the days the founders established the constitution. America can't isolate herself because she is a super power that would need to keep the peace around the world or some other's will fill the vacuum. The dollar is not going to collapse because the world still needs America to dump their good on, so America can keep borrowing or print more money, who cares ?
