  • wtf was that sound =P is it a tyre rubbing against something or what

  • yeah, against the rear wheel well. Rear passenger tire in this clip. Tire is not rubbing on control arm.

  • Hey im hoping for some input here. you have a 4 inch short arm lift correct? I want the same lift, im wondering how your ride quality is on-road and what exactly did you have in it, as this is my daily driver i need it to be comfortable on road and somewhat capable off road, i dont do too much wheelin. please let me know. thanks

  • well, I had a 4" lift for a while, but I upgraded to a long arm 6" lift to get better performance offroad (more articulation) and a better ride on the road. The 4" introduces the "deathwobble" to some degree, but with sturdy control arms and good steering stabilizers, it can be managed. The lift did help offroad and increased ground clearance. But, after having driven with my current long arm setup, I'd never go back.

  • no amount of lift will take that tire rub away its rubbing the control arm theonly way to eliminate that is wheel spacers or an offset rim!

  • I have wheel spacers. 1.25". The rub is the tread against the rear wheel well. The short control arm on 4" lift pushes wheel backward when smashed, rubbing the rear well.

  • "theres only one"

    O||||||||O

  • Only in a Jeep. SUCK MY BALLS.

  • @ czastal. a long arm lift kit allows more flex in the suspension and you are able to run bigger tire sizes than a short arm kit. if you want a lift that can take anything and have great preformance tgen go long arm but if its for show just get a short arm kit.

  • hi, it might be a stupid question but what's the difference between short and long arm lift..? I've got my 2002 2.7crd and gathering infos before I go for the lift. Just dont want to throw away my money on something if I cud better effect and performance with different solution.

  • Just trim your bumpers

  • is this a 2wd

  • fuck...i wanna take my WJ to moab!

  • isn't it mind boggling how dumb/unobservant people are?!?!

  • Nice WJ!

  • Good shit man! I've got a '99 Limited. I'm going with a 4" Terraflex, and 2" spacers.
