Uke Puke?

Haha I'm sooooo excited!!! I was gonna put some background music in, but my computer is just not cooperating with me today so yeah......

Lay it in the sun, inside the house by a window for an houre or so. Turn it over every 20 minutes and give it a sunbath. That smell is fresh glue... Don't panic; it will go away.

Now go learn some chords!

Just don't let it get too hot or it may crack, and I forgot to tell you to loosen all the strings before you do it. It may take more then one sunbath to clear the glue resin.

Well, i am not sure about the smell of the ukulele, but i am sure it will disappear with the time. Maybe your mom does not see any diference about play it with or without the smell :)
