January 10, 2012 -- RIM kicked off the new year with the announcement of 5 new BlackBerry smartphones in the Philippines -- the BlackBerry Bold 9790, BlackBerry Curve 9380, BlackBerry Torch 9810, BlackBerry Torch 9860, and the pure white BlackBerry Bold 9900.

How are people suppose to be buying new BB to get the latest OS I believe it is possible to make a comfortable for every BB 8520 doesn't support OS 6, 1st BB torch doesn't support OS 7, new 9900 won't support OS 10 this is joke won't change my 8520 will buy an Galaxy Y I cheaper but best in the OS.

honestly I love BB I have 3 diff ones in the past 5 years but one thing that annoys me is the apps majority of my friends have droids and since I have a BB they have alot of apps that connect them but I cant use them and I just received a email saying that the virus protection that I have on my torch will no longer support BB WTF is going on i dont care about the 5 new designs (im gettin the torch when it comes to the US) focus on perfecting the apps because alot of them dont even work (vlingo)

just make the OS7 available to all models for upgrades. seriously c'mon, most people are being practical nowadays. most are just looking for an upgrade and not buy a new one because its just the same.
