@mrwelch8819 I let it grow out for 6 months. I wouldn't suggest it though, the longer the hair, the longer the time it takes for them to completely loc.

the oil and water really keeps ur locs looking fresh? I've had my locs for 2 years and 6months and I cant find anything that will keep them looking fresh. After about 2-3 days im my eyes they need to be retwisted...

@mrs74blessed It could be your hair texture or a number of other things. If you look at my vid I did a couple days after this one, you'll see that my hair does the same exact thing, and looks like it needs to be retwisted. It's better than one day, which is what I got from gels.

@richiek1992 combination of olive oil, du-grow, and Island oil. mostly water tho.
