Duke Nukem Forever - All Ego Cap Rewards (I Am All That Is Man Trophy / Achievement Guide)

Discover all ego cap rewards
There are 28 collectible ego awards in total. There are a couple extra rewards that will be gained automatically just by playing through the story. If you do this on your first playthrough, you will end up with the trophy / achievement in the chapter 'Blowin' the Dam'.

I'm a little confused here... on mine, it definitely says "Ego Items Observed: 1/2" on Ghost Town... but isn't the mag in the church house the only one for that chapter?

I suggest to keep on playing and collect the rest. It's not unusual that the game tells you there is one more ego reward in this level. Some of them have multiple possible locations and I probably collect it later on (or you missed it in a level before). Go back via mission select after finishing the story.

That's what I've been doing though...I've gotten all the ones shown on here already, fought all the Bosses (and yes, I have been reaching Checkpoints) but I still haven't gotten "all" of them apparently

I guess you died after getting an ego reward. If you die before reaching the next Checkpoint it won't count. Replay all the levels where you seem to miss a thing and do everything that is shown in the video.

You forget an ego... when you are in damn it's late and when you do the signature to the child, you receive ego...

I didn't miss anything. Most of the ego cap rewards can be collected at different locations. I collect them only once and on the first opportunity in the game. If you didn't follow the video guide from scratch you might not get the trophy / achievement. Don't forget, that you have to make it to the next checkpoint when you collected something.

for some reason this keeps glitching on me. i threw the plane and it said reward collected. i leave and it says i need to play the slots again so i do that and now it says i have 1/2 on dam again.... can someone help?

So if you beat single player and then go back to get all the ego caps, you wont get the Trophy?
