Hello friend... I have noticed in the movies (pre cgi) that R2's legs are reinforced with a bracket, thus would probably relieve some of the stress on the third leg. Look at some videos of "making of" type stuff that you could find here...you'll see the designers had the same problem....it may help? Great R2 though BTW... awesome. -aggy
