Unless it's 1930 and you have a battery made with a tar and fiber case, then yes, if you sit that battery on concrete, the chemical reaction between the concrete and the tar and fiber will cause the battery to discharge, Since batteries have been made with plastic cases for years now, you can sit them on anything and they will NOT discharge,slow self discharge yes. This is an old wives tale that needs to be buried.

Nice Shop!!! Hope get one like this one day....the problem for us, brazilians, is to get all the tools with a good price....is too expensive here, because they use to sell tools for companies(garages) and not for customers. That car jack, for example, it´s about U$ 60,00 here...

Great shop! How big is it? How high is the ceiling? Thanks for the vid it has given me some ideas on how to set up my own shop. I'm almost done with the building which is 36x40.
