LG Phoenix/ Optimus - Hard Reset/ Fix Bricked phone

Steps:

Hold on to the volume UP and HOME button while booting up the device.

1. Turn it off, remove the battery out and reinsert it back again
2. Hold the Home and Volume Down button
3. Press and hold the Power button until it turns on again
4. Just follow the on-screen procedures to reset the LG Optimus M

@SwagzNPr0dz Hard reset? No you do not need to unroot in order to do a hard reset. If you have clockworkmod recovery, you can still do factory resets with root by selecting the FACTORY RESET option

I have the Optimus V, and I just factory reset it. The blank screen comes up, and the instructions you gave don't work. The LG logo flashes away and then it just goes back to the blank screen. Any advice? :/
