  • What is the name of that tool that you are using to cut the drywall? Is it a rotozip? How much does it cost for the tool and attachments? Looks like it beats the heck out of a razor knife!

  • @Jaydubyadubya it is a rotozip. just google it. you will be able to find prices, where to buy etc. Razor knives (utility knives) are time consuming and messy when cutting out archways. it is a 100 times easier just to rotozip it.

  • Why so many seams?....yous are making it much harder for the finisher

  • @uwun2luze This particular job was a remodel and the customer only planned to put in a groin vault ceiling in the dining. After we finished that, the home owner wanted to add simple archways to accent the groin ceiling so instead of discarding the left over drywall from the groin we used it for the archways. The "finishers" had an easy time finishing everything out. Not to mention we were able to blend the new drywall into the existing drywall by matching the texture.
