So let's hypothetically say you've been in Sin City for a few days and you're getting tired of all the themed casinos, hot nightclubs, Big ticket shows, easily accessed booze, and the opportunity to gamble your life savings away at every turn. I know, who would ever get sick of all that, right? But if you're looking for something a bit off the beaten path, or at least a bit off the Las Vegas Boulevard Strip, I've got a few fun suggestions for you. First, try heading north of Vegas and checking out Fremont Street in Downtown Vegas. Some of the casinos on Fremont have been there for decades, and you can get a good sense of what the town was like before all the giant themed mega resorts started to open on the strip. And if you're looking for something a little less casino-y, then why not head over to The Liberace museum? The only museum dedicated to the legendarily flamboyant singer, you can take marvel at his gaudy costumes, cars, and even a recreation of his bedroom. If you're feeling like seeing a little bit of nature after spending so much time in giant manmade palaces of consumerism, then the awe inspiring Hoover Dam is only about 30 miles away from the strip, ...
