IMPORTANT; READ TO UNDERSTAND WHATS GOING ON! ----
Set after The Dark Knight. The Joker is in Arkham Asylum, and if you think for one minute that Batman hasn't been keeping tabs on him, you're wrong. He's a smart hero. Anyways, Gordon comes to Batman with a somewhat disturbing development. The Joker is behaving, since getting a new doctor by the name of Harleen Quinzel. Batman of course becomes curious and states that he'll look into it. Just to make sure that Harleen is on their side.
Instead of showing up as Batman, he uses his alter ego, Bruce Wayne, he uses his celebrity to speak with the Joker's new and newly famous doctor. She introduces herself as Harley, which isn't what she was normally called. The Joker's mind games are already at work. Bruce comes off as a curious billionaire, wanting to know about Harley, why she'd want to be a doctor at Arkham, she replies with "I've always had an attraction to extreme personalities." and if he only knew how much she was attracted to Joker and his personality. Bruce/Batman wondering if Harleen is truly in it to cure Joker or just a book deal he offers her a large sum of money to give him information. She of course refuses and storms out leaving the billionaire Bat confused.
Harley of course is shaken up from going toe to toe with one of Gotham's most powerful people, scared that he'll speak to Dr. Arkham himself, Harley goes to Joker and that's where the true nature of their relationship is shown, she's his golden ticket out of Arkham. All it takes is a little seducing on Joker's part.
Back at the Batcave, Batman is hard at work trying to find out what this Dr. Quinzel is all about, he needs to know if he can trust her. She might be an important link in making sure Joker never sees the light of day. But there's another parallel closer to Bruce's heart. He knows how the Joker works, and he also knows that he can't let her fall victim to the Joker. Just like another woman, just like Rachel. Whose memory he can't let go of.
Deciding to spy on Harley, he taps her phone and finds out just how close the doctor and patient really are. Disappointed in all of this Batman storms Arkham, and attacks the Joker, once again. Like always Joker takes hit after hit insulting Batman the entire time. Batman has nothing, Joker took that away from him.
Harley of course hears that Joker has been attacked and rushes to Arkham to tend on her favorite patient. The entire attack running through her mind, she knows she can't keep Joker locked up, he can't be a sitting target. She thinks about releasing him, knowing that she failed to keep him safe in Arkham.
She realizes things are becoming too deep. She knows she's failed Joker, and if they have any chance of being together she has to break him out. But course whatever part of Harleen is still alive is fighting it.
Back at Wayne's Penthouse he is thinking about those two women, Harleen and Rachel who he sees as one in the same.
In Arkham, Harley finally does what Joker has been asking her to do since the first time they met one another. Let him out! In doing so she asks, or says, they should go together, and he takes her as a hostage.
Batman and Gordon hearing about this realize that this was all a game, Joker had this planned, seduce the female doctor and get out. Batman in the wreckage thinks he is going to find Harley's remains, but it isn't to be. Instead she's with Joker, and is on her way to being the Joker's Hench Wench, Harley Quinn.

notes!;
I had to redo or reuploaded this rather this, because the vocals where off, and the voice-overs did play an important part to the video. Buuut I would like to thank whoever gave the video five stars the first time around.
Like I said this isn't a Harley & Batman video, but it does focus on them as the main characters of the video. Batman see's Harley as a victim, basically anyone who the Joker has ever touched he's either killed or turned evil.
Batman fears for Harley, and does basically see her as Rachel. Not in the sense that he could ever love her like he loved Rachel. There is no real attraction to Harley. He just thinks that he could save her, something he couldn't do with Rachel.
I did use Katie Holmes's Rachel, because she seemed softer. And Bruce sort of smiles more when she's around.
And for those who do follow Matt&I's on going storyline, this is based on the Arkham Asylum ( kinda sorta our version of mad love) part --- in ours Batman does realize that Harley's going to help Joker, but it's too late, the pair have escaped before he can go stop either of them.

I never knew much about Heath. As far as I was knew, he was just a idol type actor. When he was announced as Joker, I was disappointed. My opinion began to change with the first image of Joker, a close-up shot with makeup and a scarred face. The essence of Joker, insane, maniacal & I began to feel the stirrings of excitement. The fact that Heath put so much into it, devoted so much of himself and his energy into doing justice to this challenging and fascinating role makes him a hero in my eyes..

@SpikeFancier at the promo for comic con and i was in. I was in, even if after his death I didn't want to see him bring Joker [who because Harley was my favorite comic book character he holds a lot of power with me] --- i was tricked into seeing it. but was so glad I was.
