First heard the song from the soundtrack of the movie about Ray Charles and thanks to youtube I discovered a stunning version by Jeff Beck. (love both of them very much :)
This is my attempt to play the song hope you will enjoy it.
Cheers for listening!

  • Your movement looks spastic and makes your playing sound even worse. Think only of the music and forget about trying to look cool or soulful. You just don't have it yet. Look inward, not outward. Only then will you get there. You have a lot of work to do. Get to work!!

  • @mrfester42

    okay, watever

  • did jeff beck use wah pedal ? where can i find this backing track ?

  • @gonzalomichilot

nope it's more of my own version. I made the backing track actually if you want it send me your emails. cheers

  • Nicely done! I think you've capture the spirit that Jeff put on the tune, but I think you've also made it your own! I'd keep that in your repertoire and continue to play it! ;)

  • hi thanks for the kind words. Yeah I still play this song every now and then and every time it's different. Cheers for listening :)

  • @RTGFromIFK no kidding. who the f are these tools who post neg crap. Thanks for putting this up. It's nice to see folks working on these classic songs. Nice.

  • nice shirt.

  • Concentrate on the connection between your hands, heart and ears. Your attempts at trying to move with soul make you look spastic and make your playing sound even worse. It really is painfull to listen to. Don't waste your energy on your moves. That will come without thinking. Look inward, not outward! Now get back to work!

  • You're desire to learn and get "it" is very powerful and if that desire continues you're sure to become a very good musician but you're young and everybody starts somewhere. What I'm saying is that you don't have it yet. Not even close. This is a bit painful to listen to. The soul needed to "pull off" a piece like this comes ONLY with age and time.

  • not only do you play so awesome, you're hot too!
