Join Artist and Freestyle BMX rider Ryan Humphrey and BMX legend Dizz Hicks as they discuss Ryan's participatory BMX art exhibit at the Queens Museum of Art
For more behind the scenes action check us out at www.presspass.tv
Dizz was probably the best there was. He rode with total authority over his bike. It didn't matter if the bike was right side up or upside down. His style was "standout" "powerful" and "masculine" in a genre full of limp wristed balance weenies.
Ryan is ahead of his time! Any artist that can share the spot light and and create a multi demensional exhibit such a his is brilliant! Not only is he probably the first artist to mix in static BMX art and blend it non-static BMX art , he creates a living canvas for all of us to see on You Tube..Awsome this exhibit needs to get to the west coast where it all started ! Post more vids of this new art style and history to so that you can share the roots of it while creating a new art !
