"STAND IN THE DOOR!" - (music by: Tom Petty and the Heart Breakers" & "The Pointer Sisters"
This is a tribute to all of those who became Airborne while doing their time in The United States Army. It was made just for fun and to honor those who are Airborne.
The two songs (Learning to Fly" and "Jump") have always seemed to be quite fitting for just such a thing, plus they have always reminded me of my time in Jump School at Fort Benning, GA whenever I would hear them playing over the years. Enjoy.... "AIRBORNE!"

wow great stuff thomas lee what class I went in 63 and last jumpschool class of FY 63-63 ,last 4 week jump school at benning,then on to c/1/508th at bragg and a/2/503d in nam...,then Ranger cadre in 67-68 you ????

Went into the Army in 1962, jump school in "63" and was assigned to the 82nd. Never even checked, because I had volunteered for Special Forces, which I spent the remainder of my time (7th SFG). This video sent chills down my back. The greatest experience of my life. Having trouble explaining all this to my kids and grandkids. Thank you.
