Excellent video. I just wish it was that easy for non-white people who suffer discrimination to make the comparison and empathise more with equality in this case. LGBT rights and non-whites (not just african americans) has always been a complicated issue. On the one hand there is still lots of homophobia in non-white communities; on the other, the LGBT movement hasn't done a whole lot to specifically address homophobia in non-white communities. I like Greta Christina's lectures on the subject.

@GayWorldOrder - We should take the thugification of the black folk as an example. I think more homosexuals should get their liscence to carry. Imagine how different the whole Matthew Sheppard thing might have turned out had he been armed? Great Video! Found it when looking through a Bionic Dance videos, glad I checked it out. Like you mention, basic empathy is all someone should really need. Its frustrating that so many hours are wasted on things like "letting gays be treated equal" instead of like, i dunno, "jobs" or "less people staving to death".

This is a great video. You really have a well reasoned, sensible outlook. I like the fact that you are straight and sticking up for gay people. I like how you say that other people don't need to earn respect, but they can earn disrespect. I completely agree. Everyone should be respected until they prove they are not worthy of it by doing something directly to harm someone. We shouldn't just lump a group together and cast stereotypes. Anyway, good job mate.
