Diplomatic efforts to end the conflict are continuing both in and outside of the Arab world.

An Israeli delegation is in Cairo to discuss a ceasefire plan. Egypt says it has obtained agreement from Hamas on the broad outlines of a truce. The group, however, says it still has some reservations.

  • Israel does not want peace. It has been engaged in a program of ethic cleansing and genocide since 1947. The objective is to get rid of all the Palestinians either by killing them or driving them out. They are a nation of lunatic terrorists.

  • When an army face another army then we are comparing apples with apples, but when an army face street fighters, then we are comparing apples with watermelons. Israel killed 1000+, injured 4000+, and demolished Gaza by 1.5 billion $. It is a win deal for Israel if we live in the 2nd century, but in our modern time Israel had lost. What Hamas had lost can be replaced, but what Israel had lost can not be replaced. Israel had lost the world media which it had controlled since1937.

  • Hitler! Hitler! Hitler!

    Fucking juice...

  • I sort of agree with you, but, Hamas could become the trained military branch and Fatah could become the governing branch.

The biggest problem I see is that with Israel you are dealing with the biggest propagandists I've ever seen. It seems that the Pal militants have played right into Israel's hands-they should defend themselves, but instead of shooting rockets into Sderot, perhaps they run a PR campaign about Najd-the destroyed P town. More brains, less brawn. Pal has the moral highground.

  • I know this is a serious topic, and generally I'm very serious about it, but I just have to say that the newsguy, Imran, is very good-looking.

Okay, back to the serious stuff. . .

  • Offered twice? You mean the infamous 89% of the land deal which was a classic replica of a prison footprint?

If that is what you consider a solution then you are seriously deluding yourself. What i don't understand from a pro-Israeli zealots is what DO they consider a legitimate form of self defense for Palestinian people while they are being chocked off their land and killed by droves like the wild animals? Any ideas?

  • How come a two-state solution has been offered twice, yet Palestinians have refused both times?

Several times, after Israel withdrew its forces from an area, that very day the occupied area fired rockets.

  • Update Jan. 23 2009: After killing people in Gaza concentration camp, Israeli's are refusing to let aid through to those suffering from Jews barbaric act.

People from almost every country are hating Jews and Israel, even though the Jews try to smear Arabs, Muslims and Islam through their deception, cruelty and mass murders.

Fact: Every country Jews lived in, they were evicted from. Wonder why? Look at actions of Israel and the Jews, and you will support every freedom fighter.

  • go wash some cartoon you retardet redneck

  • war?

have u seen the number of deaths?

    that's genocide, not war...

300 Palestinian kids are dead and nobody cares, like the Arabs aren't people...

If Israel say that this is a war against Hammas, I'd say that they have a pretty lousy aim, cuz all I see is innocents dying...

  • There are Extremists and Moderates, both within Israel and the Arab world. Sadly, it is the voice of the Extremist that mostly finds its way, leading to war and killing. The justification of extremism in any way and shape only fuels more extremism. Its difficult to understand how to cultures that greet you with the word Peace (SALAM, SHALOM), use war as a way to solve their disputes.
