i remember seeing them as supporting act of robbie williams in 2000. all my friends were like "oh my god, i saw robbie williams live" and i was like "oh my god, i actually got to see ash live" ;-)

I could have gone to see them at Reading last year, but wanted to tick Pendulum off my 'bands to see once' list, so I didn't - have since got much more into them, and wish I had!

If its on Jools, theres a damn good chance its pretty lethal or a damn good live band.

@pintpot That ‘swirly guitar line’ is what I like to consider a neat reference to My Bloody Valentine’s ‘I Only Said’. Which kinda ties in nicely with the fact that Alan Moulder, who was credited with engineering work on ‘Loveless’, mixed ‘Shining Light’ and at least parts of ‘Free All Angels’, I think.
