Footprints on the sand at Wonga Beach early Sunday morning 17 May 2009. Follow the footprints to the sea and on the horizon you can just make out Port Douglas in the distance to the south. This was not set up. The footprints were found and just after someone walked along the beautiful nearly deserted beach.
During the last summer, on dusk, a large crocodile chased a fisherman who was wading in shallow water 200 metres from where this was filmed. The Daintree River mouth is 2 kilometres to the north maybe that is why the beach is nearly deserted.
At the end of Janbal Street.
