Complete Audio Book of Henry George's Progress and Poverty. Listen to the introduction!

The reality is Zeitgeist will be another failed attempt at Marxism and dictatorship. However, I didn't want to hinder the dreams of someone wanting to live in a better crime-less society. George eliminates the need for biggest use of money, to pay rent on land. Anyone can put a home or business on the land they claim without taxes or rent. Progress and Poverty is my favorite book. It is a great economics book too. When 5 years pass by and there is no progress on the Zeitgeist delusion, consider my idea that can be implemented in 24 hours buy 1000 acres of land and divide it into a campground.

  • I still think you don't need to change the current system. Buy 1500 acres of farmland and set up a trust fund to pay the income tax and collect some resources like steel silver copper. In many ways the Amish and other religious communities operate this way.

  • I feel like you need to see Zeitgeist: Moving Forward again.......and really pay attention this time.

  • @ELREY323 I watched it twice and will watch it again. However, who is going to do the jobs no one wants to do. Cleaning toilets and cleaning throw-up off the table? People talking and saying there will be no crime are not facts.

  • Democracy? Our democracy is fake, its a plutocracy with two corrupt parties, we need direct democracy and transparency.

Crime, you pull a strawman there.

Good points about unemployment though (dont forget free modular education would help)

  • @Rickdeckard2020 It would be better if anyone could have their name put on all the ballots of all the states for say a fee of $100000. You say why charge money? If you ask for signatures, all they do is hire a firm to do it anyways.

  • In a George-Locke system you can still have a planned community. If someone builds a resort on one of there parcels they can give the estate to someone when they pass on. Someone living on a trailer on a parcel nearby, might decide to move to the resort as a choice, but may also leave as a choice.

  • I am sorry but this is DEFINITELY NOT Georgism.

" George eliminates the need for biggest use of money, to pay rent on land. Anyone can put a home or business on the land they claim without taxes or rent. Progress and Poverty is my favorite book."

    Are you serious?

  • I don't care for Georgism, but it doesn't irritate me, and I like this video, so I'm subscribing.

  • Nifty way to share information :3

  • I feel this guy wants to stick more sellotape on the ball of sellotape and call it fixed. We can do better. VP FTW.

  • Why does he keep getting up? Is it because he's sitting on his brain? Next time he watches Zeitgeist, he should do it standing up.

  • @pirucreek There are actually self-cleaning toilets that exist, but are on the rather expensive side. :)

  • @pirucreek I'll take care of all that!
