@givemethebeatboys It was an awesome era to be a teenager. We didn't realise it at the time - but, the music was to become iconic ! They were days of relative innocence, basic decency and good fun ! No personal computers; mobile smart phones; internet or ipods - life was so much easier and happier ! Loved this song so much. Contrary to popular belief, the song is not about the Great Wall of China ... It was indeed written about the Hume Weir / Dam located near Albury NSW.
