The Campo Tornado

On May 31st 2010, one of the most spectacular tornadoes of the US season descended just a few hundred metres from our UK storm-chase team. This video documents the day-long life cycle of its parent supercell thunderstorm, with plentiful timelapse footage, culminating in the tornado which touched down near Campo, SE Colorado.

Music: Track is "Arrival to Earth" and it's from the score for Transformers the movie, by Steve Jablonsky.

so how deep can a tornade dig a trench

@1969626 They have been known to dig into the soil to a depth of up to a foot but only in very rare cases. They normally just remove the topsoil/road surfaces, etc.
