Rand Paul is opposed to the Empire and a the Welfare/Warfare state that is only possible by having a Banking Cartel ( a Mafia ) print our money.

@LouieArrighi The commentator is dissembling (lying) by merging libertarians with conservatives and Bush II. Rand Paul, as a principled libertarian IS against all subsidies, the oil subsidies, the sugar subsidy,etc. Ron Paul vigorously opposed _all_ of the policies of George W. Bush.

Rand should be against those subsidies. I'm against them, because the oil industry isn't providing critical jobs, but I'm a protectionist, and understand when subsidies should be given and should not be given. most corps today don't deserve subsidies because they produce in China and Mexico and hire illegals.
