http://www.intelligencesquared.com/ Admitting that it may be his 'quiet monastic foolishness', Sutch claims no one has answered, or even looked at the question. He claims his trump card in the debate is the Christian understanding of "blessed are you when people abuse you...be glad and rejoice".
So, accordingly, he says we should carry on bashing Christians, but just to do it honestly. Britain remains a tolerant country in Sutch's opinion; it may disagree with some beliefs but it is not 'anti'. In fact, most people just think Christians are dotty and aren't really prepared to laugh at them at all. Sutch reminds us that God does have a sense of humour and we should carry on bashing Christians as it is the only way they are reminded to look at themselves, realising how foolish they are.
Taken from our debate 'Stop bashing Christians! Britain is becoming an anti-Christian country' (November, 2010).
How boring, time wasting speech.

Compared to most religious debators supporting the affirmative he's notably amiable.
Someone's theistic viewpoint should be inconsequential in every qualifiable way,to the lives of everyone who doesnt acquiese. It's only fair. Like we do with the astrologers. We're getting closer to that in the UK.But we must stop indoctrinating people at their most hapless(as children).I just returned from Cairo after the Salifistes enjoyed their first day in the sun.Any non-muslim theists fancy moving to Egypt?

I can't speak for anybody else, but personally, I *AM* anti-christian, I am anti-theism in ALL forms. And this guy redefining christianity/non-christianity is yet another good reason why.
