So much can change in a year. In 2010, the first year in which we conducted the Consumerization of IT research, a lot of organizations thought the changing landscape brought on by use of consumer devices and social media in the workplace was one they could sidestep or was someone else's problem. Flash forward a year and the mindset has changed.
