He forgot to mention that the Iban are Evangelical Christians and that's why they don't practice headhunting anymore.

A New Yorker in a traditional Iban longhouse deep in the jungle of Sarawak? Very interesting show...
I like how this episode focuses on the native people of Malaysia which not many has seen. I do think that Anthony Bourdain needs to have a sequel to this. Malaysia is a very complex country with each state having variances in food & culture. For example, the laksa in Sarawak is very different from the laksa in Penang or Johor. Originally am from Penang, live in KL for a while and I has seen/stayed in the rural areas. The experience is absolutely breathtaking.

well, shah rukh khan who casted one of his film in malaysia received 'datukship' for promoting malaysia to the world (or maybe just hindustan cinemas). I think anthony deserved it more than shah rukh khan.
